Bio

Alex brings over 20 years of experience across financial services operations and technology. With a strong track record in process improvement, team development, and digital transformation, he is passionate about creating environments where people thrive and clients receive outstanding outcomes.

His career spans a broad range of roles, including operations, technology, administration, paraplanning, and technical services. Most recently, Alex worked as Operations Manager at Westcotts Chartered Financial Planners. Prior to that, he spent 16 years with PKF Francis Clark, where, as a PRINCE2® Practitioner-qualified Senior Digital Project Manager, he successfully delivered firmwide initiatives across a business of more than 1,000 employees. He has also been recognised twice by Intelliflo as both Ambassador and Community Champion at their annual conference awards.

Alex combines deep operational expertise with a people-first leadership style. His areas of expertise include financial planning operations, process redesign, digital transformation, and systems such as Intelliflo Office, alongside strong knowledge of compliance and building high-performing teams. He is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys family life in Devon with his wife (who shares a birthday with him), two daughters, their cat and Labrador. He stays active through mountain biking, running, swimming, and tennis, and is an avid Formula 1 fan.
